薩杰．塞繆爾（Sajay Samuel）教授說，＂曾幾何時，在美國上大學不等於背債畢業＂。而如今，高等教育變成了消費產品——學費大幅度上升，當學校與貸款公司在賺大錢的時候，學生們背負了超過一兆美金的債務。塞繆爾提出了一個相當大膽的解決方案：把學費與學歷未來的收入做連結，讓學生可以為他們的未來做出明智的選擇，重新找回對學習的熱情，並為這世界做出有意義的貢獻。
