Joseph Harwood

Artist & LGBTQ+ Activist
I am an artist andLGBT activist. For the last twenty years I achieved a career by using social media and creativity to grow an audience, which led me to win a reality talent show created by Simon Cowell. I experienced a totally different outcome after winning, and as a trans person I felt it was my mission to ensure that younger LGBT creatives would not be subjugated to the same transphobia, by being positive, using creative outlets and community to support each other.
