Jay Herratti is the CEO of TED, a conference and media organization with a mission to discover and spread ideas. He oversees TED's efforts to curate hundreds of TED Talks and publish them through video, animations and podcasts. He and his team also work to advance TED's impact on the world: TEDx events bring people together to share ideas in more than 2,000 communities, TED's Audacious Project has helped catalyze more than three billion dollars in funding for impact projects and the TED Countdown initiative works to accelerate solutions to the climate crisis. He joined TED in 2014, serving as executive director of TEDx until 2021.
